"I am a nursing professor in a NYC based university. Dr. Francis recently excised a rather large cyst from my upper back. I tend to be an anxious, high-strung person, so I was pretty nervous before the procedure. My experience with Dr. Francis and his staff was wonderful; Dr. Francis has restored my trust in physicians. He is gentle, caring, patient, approachable, competent, and treats the whole person.
Dr. Francis answered all of my questions clearly and completely and patiently alleviated each of my pre and post-op concerns. I received local anesthesia and was conscious for the procedure, and he continuously assessed my comfort level and gave me emotional reassurance and progress reports throughout its duration. Furthermore, Dr. Francis was readily available to me via telephone immediately post-op, if I experienced any complications and/or had any concerns. I’m Latina,48, working for the public administration in NYC. Coming from a country where the practice of plastic surgery is questionable, for me was very important to treat with a surgeon that possessed the proper credentials and experience needed for this discipline. After I consulted with Dr Francis, immediately I knew that he was a Doctor highly professional, ethical and qualified. He gained my trust with his patient, receptivity to my questions and concerns, but above all when I told him that I wanted to have a procedure done, that he understood that I did not need it at that moment; He did it three years later.
All procedures were, in a very detailed way explained to me, first, verbally by Dr. Francis including risks and complications; follow it by a pre-operative package and post-op instructions.
The administrative personnel, specifically Rochelle is excellent; with her assistance the whole thing was more easier, since she made sure that everything was in order by the day of my surgery (medical appoints, lab work, financial arrangements, emergency contact, etc). She programmed my post surgery visits in a way that made feel comfortable and protecting my privacy.
The office of Dr. Francis combine professionalism, technology, a highly qualified staff, (medical and administrative) with a friendly environment that made me feel that I was among family.
I'm very happy with the results since Dr Francis did not "plasticize" my face but relaxed it; I Could say that I'm myself, just with a fresh aspect, which was what I wanted.
